About the collection & locations

1086 catalogue records across 82 locations. A record may describe one object, a published assemblage, a structure, or an inscription source entry. Source entries without a reader link to the inscription register.

Open any record to see where it was found and, when known, where it is kept today. Some points show a broad region, a mint, or a museum because the find place is unknown; those records say so. Dates follow the cited publications, including their qualifications.

Earlier highland material is grouped with DʿMT by chronology. This does not attribute every early object to the kingdom. Comparative inscriptions from Arabia remain identified as comparisons.

Relief: NOAA ETOPO 2022. Coastline and optional modern boundaries: Natural Earth. No ancient political borders are drawn.
