F. 147a: A man in the clothes of a dignitary, probably Walda Madgen, the one time owner of the manuscript (f. 146b). Decorative cross, f. 3a. Copied for Hayla Malakot, son of ~ahla ~ellase, King of Shoa by Walda Maryam (colophon, f. 95b). The manuscript was later owned by Walda Madhen for whom ff. 4ab and 145a-146b is copied by a different hand. The name Walda Madijen is inserted throughout the text without erasing the name Hayla ·Malakot which suggests the existence of a certain relationship between the two.
