Fig. 31.3d), held at Addi Geza’iti cave, the then HQ of TPLF guerrilla movement. Bahir Dar, at the southern tip of Lake Tana, and Mt. Guna, an epicentre of guerrilla activities, can be recognised. Map is conformably oriented, with a grid of 10 km 10 km. Drawn on the map are, in blue colour the Derg army positions, in red colour TPLF and EPDM (Ethiopian People’s Democratic Movement) positions and anticipated moves. Note the cartographic skills displayed, which points to the contribution of a formally trained cartographer
