The vestments this priest wore were unusually fine and beautiful. The priest's eyes are downcast because of the flash photography in the room. He was actually a personable guy.

Like most of the priests at Lalibela who display religious objects for visitors, this one wore sunglasses to protect his eyes from flash photography. I cropped this photo closely for two reasons.
