Obverse: Half-length bust of Ezanas right, crowned, holding stick or sceptre, flanked by two wheat-stalks, the whole in a beaded circle. Inscription : Greek , ; obverse "King Ezanas", comment : crosses at top, bottom and both sides ; reverse : "Of the Aksumites man of Alene". comment : crosses at top, bottom and both sides.
