Painting on fol. 18v of Princeton University Library, Princeton Ethiopic Manuscripts, Princeton, NJ, 57 (PEM (Princeton) 57), dated 18th century. The scene is recorded (with qualification) by the Princeton Ethiopian, Eritrean, and Egyptian Miracles of Mary project (PEMM) as "1. The worker standing next to St Mary, who performs a blessing gesture, while sitting on a throne and holding her son". PEMM links it to the story "The peasant who complained to Saint Mary because she did not reply to his Hail Mary.".
