On f.2r. Upper margin ኦሪት ዘቅዱስ መድኃኔ ዓለም, “the Law, belonging to the Holy Saviour of the World”. The church Holy Saviour of the World built by King Theodore at Magdala. on f. 119v. a note in of modern date: ዝ፡ መጽሐፍ ዘአባ ማሩ ወእምየኒ አበሱደ መምሕርየኒ አባ ዩሴፍ ሕፃን መናረ አኀውየኒ ሽቱ ካሱ ይቤ ዑጉዝ በአፈ ሙሴ ወአሮን.The commencement of each book, is ornamented with interlacing in red and black ink, except for the Book of Ruth. Ornamental band on ff. 1r, 50r, 88r, 120r, 160r, 196r, 218r.
