What the catalogue identifies

An Ethiopian manuscript containing:ff. 3r- 132v. The Acts of Fasiladas, or Basilides. The work ascribed to Celestinus, bishop of Rome.f. 2r. List of books presented by King Na'od to the church of St. Mary at Dabra Berhan, in the first year of his reign, A.M. 6997=A.D. 1495, including the present volume.f. 2v. Introduction to the Miracles of the blessed Virgin Mary, in a later hand.f. 134r. The Acts of 'Abba Nob, ገደለ: ዘአባ: ኖብf. 134v. The name of King David, ዳዊት :, has been substituted for that of 'Eskender.f. 132v. These acts were translated from Coptic into Ge’ez , A.M. 6889 = A.D. 1397, by Ab Sim'on, a monk of the convent of St. Antony.ff. 3r and 19r, at the foot of the page, we find the name of the scribe Methuselah, ዘማቱሰላ.f.134r. the data of the Ms. was written during the reign of 'Eskender or Alexander, surnamed Constantine, A.D. 1478—94.There are ornaments on ff. 3r and 134r
